I'll admit, I was jealous of Perez. And yeah, maybe I was trying too hard to be her on this blog. The truth is, there will never be another Perez. Lots of you will try and fail. She created what is without a doubt the most popular Stardoll blog ever, and I respect that. But I will try to learn from the legacy she has left behind, and live up to my promise of saving this blog's reputation.I am sad to see her go. Not really, what she said was that she was trying to be Perez on this blog, like maybe being overly mean/critical which is something Perez is famous for. There's a huge difference between that and what Star_Awards has done, which has been to completely change her style and personality from what was popular in the past (the boring "Elite" look) to what is currently popular, thanks to Perez, which is fun fashion and a unique personality. She just seems to be someone that follows trends, and she's dumped her old self and decided to dress like Perez does and even start her own blog, another trend Perez started. There weren't even half as many Stardoll blogs before PerezStarGossip's as there are now. I completey agree with this article and have definitely been noticing the changes on Stardoll since Perez. And yes, "Gossip Girl" is a tool :D

not everyone blindly follows trends anonymous, a lot of people do their own thing and have their own style, and don't just try to look and dress like other people because that's what's currently "in". i have lost a lot of respect for star_awards, not just because she's trying to be like perez. and i think the GG wannabe is best ignored, she doesn't deserve to be acknowledged and i regret giving her the attention she obviously wants.
Perez didn't create the colourful layering style there was tons of other members on stardolls who dressed like that before Perez was even well known. They didn't get attention because everyone was focusing on the elites and not anyone else’s individual style. I do have to agree with you when you say that Perez caused people to change their minds about aspiring to become elite, but was that really a huge accomplishment? This is stardoll, a virtual site made out of pixels and colours. The stuff that Perez blogged about where not based on real life issues but more on fake pointless drama on stardoll. Don't give the girl that much credit. Style may have lied to people a lot but at least she had talent through graphics. Perez on the other hand was just a popular internet bully. She’s no different from fakeshake3 or Teale.

Your making it seem like Perez changed the minds of everyone on stardoll, while she did implicate different views in other peoples opinions she did not change every single stardoll members views on elitism. There were already tons of members who either didn't know that elitism was apparent on stardolls or did not care, already knew that you could achieve fame without the elite status by being yourself or are still proud of their elite title. Style magazine may have copied graphics from other websites such as rio world and idressup but do you even know how she did it? Did she cut and paste or did she spend hours redrawing her favoured garments in question? Could you create a whole magazine with qualities as high or if not higher than styles? I myself am a graphic designer and possess a mass amount of knowledge of what programs are used for websites like stardoll.com and online magazines like Style’s and how much time and the effort it takes to create such arts. I’m not trying to stick up for styles inappropriate behaviour because like you I was disgusted when finding out that her whole reputation of herself and her magazine was built on a lie, but If I had to judge which person was the most talented creatively speaking (judging by what they have both showed us on stardoll) between the two I would choose Style. Perez is a great witter, she possess a sophisticated word bank and her writing is witty and entertaining at best, but I feel that she wasted her talent on that obnoxious ridiculous gossip blog she created. Style’s magazine is based on fashion (must more appreciated in comparison to Perez’s work); she could use her graphics to get into art universities, or for her portfolio when showing her artistic qualities to clients. Perez spent the majority of her time on stardoll hating people, and using her popularity to get her fans to hate her enemies for no apparent reason.
